What type (sdf/database/shp) of feature source is layer "villages"?

Hi All,

I am using MGOS1.2.0 and FDO. I have on layer with 40,000 villages and when
i applied them on village for only two villages with their ID then i saw
speed of theme is verry slow. So, any way to improve speed of GT Theme, when
i want to make Theme on some villages (Not all) ? Help me
