[mapguide-users] RE: text layer with Capital Letter

not sure if am following the right track  and I am not expert programmer ,
so i don't want to get into any cpp files etc. 
 I need some help with changing tool tip display.
Can someone provide a list of common functions  i need something like
round() fix() or int() 
also if possible substring() or mid .
i tried a couple of them in expression builder of tool tip , but it did ot
work
