Not sure what the context of your code is, but there is a function to
get an FDO filter out of an MgSelection, it's called
MgSelection::GenerateFilter(). May be other people have better ideas
though, I'm not an expert on this.

That value is a base 64 encoding of the feature ID.

What's the easiest way to convert the Web API selection value "tSEAAA=="
to some other field in the layer's dataset? Any examples available?
