[Mapguide_users] Markup SDF file format issue

The current markup code uses the MgCreateSdfParams class with
MgFeatureService::CreateFeatureSource. See line 114 of markupmanager.php.
Looking in the API documentation, it looks like you can only create SDF
feature sources on the fly using this method. One thing that would probably
work is to pre-define dummy point, line and polygon Shape feature sources in
the repository and then read, copy and alter those as part of a markup
application when the user creates a new markup set.

Subject: [Mapguide_users] Markup SDF file format issue
The new markup tools work very well but the file format is SDF. In order to
share the markup data with others, we must convert SDF/ access files to
Shapefiles. This is problematic unless you have a license for FME. Is
there a way to create shapefiles with the markup tools instead of SDF? or is
there another way to convert sdf to shp without FME?
thanks
