[Mapguide_users] Refreshing a single layer

Hi,
Does anyone know whether there is a single DWF viewer client side API that
will allow me to refresh just a single layer. Basically I want  a function
that can replicate the same functionality that gets exposed when you right
click on a layer in the map.

I have already tried the map refresh and mapFrame refresh and they dont seem
to do the job.
