Thanks for providing help.

I used the ZoomToView() function and the zoom worked. Now the problem is
that the map is
zooming out of the map. So, can you provide me some of the urls for
understanding the correct use of "scale" parameter.

I believe the command you'd use to zoom to a particular point is
ZoomToView() - which accepts the x, y, scale, and refresh parameters.

If you're looking for an example in the context of an application, I'd
suggest you refer to the Sheboygan sample app.
