[mapguide-users] copy url function needed

In the old mapguide there is a "copy url" command by right clicking on a map. 
The url could be emailed to someone or posted on a web page to help users
zoom to an exact location.  Is there any way to create bookmarks or smart
urls that would send users to a specific location with specific layers
turned on? KML files do this quite nicely now for google earth.  This would
be a nice feature for Mapguide open source.
