[mapguide-users] Raster in MapGuide Hand Holding

Hello Frank, 

I've been working with MapGuide for a while, and as you know I had some
similar problems with rasters.

When I make Data Connection using GDAL provider and a layer with that data
source (raster Connection), I can't see raster in the layer preview. When I
add this layer to may Map I see it but not properly (just one random TIF
file from my raaster folder stretched over the screen). 

To see your Map in browser you have to make Web layout and use your Map
Definition in the "Map resource used in this layout" field. Then you click
"Go" button beside "Preview in browser using..." in the Web layout window. 

Now I am going to try how these rasters work with Autodesk Raster Provider.
