[mapguide-users] Configure External Files in Administrator

Will those aliases have the same issues with unmanaged SHP files?

I may be wrong on this, but I think you have to also have Studio 2008 beta
in order to see these new features exposed.  When you create a new Data
Connection in Studio, you can now choose the SHP or SDF providers and then
configure that feature source to point to a file or folder.  The files or
folders visible to choose from come directly from external file aliases.

Anyone have any information of links on how to use the section "Configure
External Files" within the MapAdmin pages? I have created one for SHP, SDF
and Raster and when I load Studio I don't see them. How do you use these
feature sources once created as aliases?
