There is a special Dll for using MapGuide Studio with MGOS 1.2 Beta 2

http://download.osgeo.org/mapguide/patches/mapguidestudio/1.2.0/Autodesk.MapGuide.Studio.Site.zip

I have not seen anyone reporting trouble with that.
