Dear Maciej,

thanks for your answer - and we have the same effects as you describe it !!! We can do every step as you but we don´t see anything in the maps - without any error message ...

For your examples: are they only for a linux version ? I´m not sure what to do with an .gz file ...

by the way - have you use Gdal provider for Raster data?

I use MGOS 1.1.0 whit Gdal and have problem whit load raster...they are 
loaded (i see icon in layerpane) but can't see it on map.

when i load raster on 1.0.2 server i works....have you this same truble?
