You could try 

./build_oem.sh > /dev/null

and see if you are getting any missing LIB errors. It is kind of hard to see
with all the compile information crap flying by. This will only give
warnings and errors as output. Maybe you need a lib for example I needed the
CURL and libXML2 lib files before PHP would compile.
