I'd recommend using the following URL to access SVN (with or without SSL):

 

https://svn.osgeo.org/svn/fdo/

 

I think that the ability to use osgeo.org without the svn hostname will be
going away fairly soon as we retire the wildcard DNS entry.  The above
format will be maintained for somewhat longer, but the canonical location
(after some updates that Howard is doing this weekend) will be:

 

https://svn.osgeo.org/fdo/

 

This will remove nastiness that the current alias within the website is
causing, such as the redirect if you click on the link below.
