[mapguide-users] Newbie Web Studio question

A little clarification. If you are running the PHP Sample then there is
no Tomcat involved in the install. Tomcat only applies for the JSP
Sample. PHP is always installed because the Web Administrator requires
PHP.

There's no need to install and run Tomcat if you don't have to.

I managed to solve my own problem starting Web Studio.  You cannot use
Windows explorer and navigate to the index.html or launch.html file to
open Web Studio.  You must type
http://localhost:8008/mapguide/webstudio/ into a /web browser/ and let
Web Studio load on its own.
