Well, I will answer myself :)

I played a lot with this images, and now I'm satisfied with performance,
even when accessing the map via slow internet link. What I did is, as Frank
suggested: merged Tiffs (as possible pieces as my machine could handle),
then prepared them (added overview and convert them to tiled tiffs),
configured path to those images, and it works. Performance is satisfying.
Only thing I added (which Frank didn't mention), is that I changed
GETDYNAMICMAPOVERLAYIMAGE format from PNG to JPG. This really helps a lot to
load aerial photos, which contain a lot of colors.

Thank you again Frank. My problem is solved now, and I can move on further
in exploring possibilities of this beautiful product, MGOS.
