Hi all.

I have read this thread:

about problems with GDAL and Tiff transparency, but from this article it's
not clear to me if this problem is fixed, not existent, or not fixed.

I have Tiff, for which I need transparent background, since behind it I have
to show another raster layer. So, I tried to set up Background Color to
"Transparent" in studio, but so far with no effect. Background on this layer
is still white. So, what is correct procedure to achieve transparent tiff
(if this is possible at all)?
