[mapguide-users] Layer Security

Hello everybody;
I am trying to allow only authorized users to acess to my site, they will be
prompted to provide a username and password once they enter the site url.
Can someone tell me how to proceed?

Reading posts, I have deduced that one method is to create  a secured layer
(protected with a username and password), but I am wondering how to start,
Users' accounts should be stored into a database or using the mapguide
admin, which code may be used...etc

Any suggestions will be welcome;
