[mapguide-users] Print temporary layer

I have used the phpsamples\custom_output code to print a portion of a map.
However, I want the image to have a border, so I've used the digitizing
sample code to put a session layer on the runtime map with a rectangle on
it. However, when I print the map, it does not print the rectangle. Does the
MGEnvelope, RenderMap functionality etc only apply to saved features?
