[mapguide-users] WMS Transparent Tiles

I ran into this awhile back and had to specify GIF images in the request
instead.  This was pre 1.2 so it sounds like that has not changed.

Has anyone been able to get transparent WMS tiles working with 1.20 ?

my wms request is correct (coz works with other any other server i have
tried)

url parameters are ie png and transparent=TRUE but mapguide keeps returning
opaque tiles what ever i do. I am using openlayers as the client

this question has been asked a lot on the mailing list with no response
