[mapguide-users] MG studio 2007 can't cooperate with MG opensource 1.2.0 ? Update of Autodesk.MapGuide.Studio.Site.dll is not enough?

Hi Everyone:

I see that several people have some several issues using MGOS 1.2.x (since
Beta 1 to Final Version) with MapGuide Studio 2007.

I must point out that THE MAPGUIDE STUDIO Version WICH MATCHES WITH MAPGUIDE
OPENSOURCE 1.1.x - 1.2.x TECHNOLOGY is the all brand new Adsk MapGuide
Studio 2008.

Since MapGuide Studio 2007 works with FDO 3.0.x - 3.1.x , Map 3D 2007 ,
MapGuide Enterprise 2007 and also MGOS 1.0.x and MGOS 1.1 (with workaround)
IS NOT RECOMMENDED TO USE WITH THE NEWER TECHONOLOGY also known as
MapGuideEnteprise 2008 / MGOS 1.2.

You should contact your local Autodesk Reseller, for a trial version of
MapGuide Studio or purchase an Adsk MapGuide Studio 2008 for 500 USD approx.

I have no experince with the ArcSDE provider, but what I do know is that 
the server must have the client files avalible.
The client files should be placed in the FDO folder of the server 
(C:\program files\mapguideopensource\server\bin\fdo), or referenced by 
the PATH environment variable.

The "autodesk dete.exe" is not part of MapGuide Open Source, so might 
not get any response on that topic from this list.
If your problem is only related to Studio. you can Autodesk directly.
