I will forward this link again in regards to IIS and .NET.
The posting talks about issues with the Memory Pool and how it faults now when it used to fail silently. Perhaps this has something to do with it?
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/911816
It talks about changing some settings back to the old behavior.

I have similar crashing problems with 2.0.1 and also suspect raster issues,
although there are no clues in the error or event logs about this. The
reason I suspect raster issues is that when things start to go wonky, maps
with no raster work for a little while maps with raster fail to render.
Eventually, mgserver faults and locks up.
The one common denominator for those with instability issues seems to be
running MGOS with IIS / .NET. Is that the case for all with these problems?
