Here is some more feedback to the developers on my MGOS 2.0.1 crashes /
lockups. This is on IIS5 on Windows 2000 Server with the .NET web
extensions. This server previously ran all prior versions of MGOS with the
same site data. This problem occurs every two to three days with moderate
load on the server (they're just demo sites). The data being accessed
includes a couple of raster images (one 300 MB ECW and one 300 MB MrSID) and
multiple WMS requests. When the server locks up, there is an error dialog
on the console stating that mgserver.exe has faulted. When an MGOS layout
is attempted to be accessed, this is returned:

An exception occurred in DB XML component. Error: Out of memory in

And task manager shows the mgserver process with one CPU pegged at 100% and
consuming a large amount of RAM. The MapGuide server service cannot be
restarted via the standard methods and I must use something like pskill.
My TempPath parameter in serverconfig.ini points to a location with plenty
of free space.

The error.log file has a few repitive entries. The first one related to a
raster layer and the second to Fusion:

I hope this information helps.
