[mapguide-users] Help with .Net Samples

HI,
In the .net sample - select feature - there is a section of code in the file
SELECTFEATURES.ASPX.CS as below which sets the filter:

queryOptions.SetFilter("RNAME LIKE 'SCHMITT%'");

What i want to do is allow users to decide the filter from a drop-down menu
or something. Could anyone offer me any guidance of how and where to start.
I've tried passing a hard-coded session variable which works but i am not
sure on how i can get the users input.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.
