[mapguide-users] Mapguide server is very slow

We host the mapguide server on our own server. The problem is that the
mapguide server is running very slow. When requesting a mapguide page, it
takes a while for the map to display. 

My questions are: 

1. Is there anyway to improve the performance of mapguide server? e.g.
speeding up the displaying of 
    the map. 

2. Is there any hosting services out there that can host mapguide server and
the performance is fast?
