I don't think so.   

 

I'd be careful about using older versions of Studio with newer versions
of MapGuide OS.  I don't have access to the code, but I would be worried
that loading a resource and then writing it back would change it,
possibly removing newer schema elements.

 

That said, I have a version of 2007 running with the patch from here:

http://download.osgeo.org/mapguide/patches/mapguidestudio/1.2.0/

that can access an MGOS 2.0 site.
