Thanks for your reply.

Are you suggesting that there is no possibility for me to deploy mapguide on
this 64-bit machine... and that I'd need another 32-bit machine?

And regarding 1.2.0 vs. 2.0... earlier attempts of using mapguide 2.0 failed
(the reasons are unknown because it was done by another team member of mine)
