[mapguide-users] GetPropertyType (php) not working in 2.0?

Does the FeatureReader no longer support the GetPropertyType method in 
2.0? This line (taken right from the webapi documentation) doesn't work 
for me:

$propertyType = $featureReader->GetPropertyType($propertyName);
