[mapguide-users] Should updating a mysql feature source clear the tile cache?

I just checked this and sadly it does seem to clear the cache which makes no sense. I will log a defect on this.

I was under the impression updating a database featureSource wouldn't
invalidate the tile cache

I have a map with both tiled and untiled layers with about 1.7GB of
tiles, the mysql database moved
so I updated the featureSource which blew away the tilecache, even tho
the mysql layer wasn't in any
of the base layer groups

Is this expected behaviour?

Fortunately, I had just moved my tilecache over to a bigger drive and
I had a backup
