[mapguide-users] Geometry not shown

I think there are some companies that offer paid support for MapGuide 
Open Source.

There are a couple of things you can try.

1. When you create the Feature Source, what happens when you press the 
"Test Connection" button?
2. When you create the layer, can you see anything in the "Schema" and 
"Geometry" columns?
3. When you create the layer, you must create a scale range.
I suggest you set minimun to 0 and maximum to infinity.
4. On the layer, you must select either point, line or area.
5. In whichever you choose in step 4, you must make sure it is visible 
(ea. make it bright red with a black border)
6. When you create the map, there is a button saying "Set extent to 
selected layer coordinates".
When you press it, make sure the coordinates are what you expect.
If not, you may have to set up a coordinate override on the Feature Source.

If you are having trouble with step 3, 4 or 5, I suggest you download 
version 1.0.7 of Maestro (previously MapStudio):
