The problems do occur with some (not all) tiff files.

Folks,
I think the best might be to lock me, a mapguide developer with good
debugging skills, and perhaps someone who can demonstrate the problem in
a room for a day or two. I don't have the mapguide skills to debug this
in the mapguide context, and things seem to work fine with the FDO
unit tests. If there is a mapguide developer in the Ottawa/Montreal/Toronto
region that could spare a day or two for this work I would be willing to visit.
I have stopped reviewing the various raster related emails on this list very
closely since a lot of problems seem to be related to deploying the mrsid
plugin or related to missing/extra slashes in paths. But if folks are
having the discussed problems with tiff files then the problem is pretty core.
