The repository of your 1.2 site is not compatible with 2.0.1 so has to be
migrated. The easiest way to do this is to export your entire repository as
a package and then import it into your 2.0.1 site. Other than that,
everything else should be compatible with a couple of API exceptions noted

Subject: [mapguide-users] Ubuntu 8.04 & MGOS
We currently have MGOS1.2, on Ubuntu 7.04. I am thinking of rebuilding a
new server with MGOS2.0.1 and Ubuntu 8.04. Can we use the previous
maps/sites created for MGOS1.2 in 2.0.1?
Has anyone had any luck installing MGOS2.0.1 on Ubuntu 8.04?
I have seen the tutorials for Ubuntu 7.04 and 7.10, but I'd like the Long
Term Support of 8.04.
Thanks,
Ray
