[mapguide-users] Test if MapGuide server is running

Are you seeing a lack of stability Zac?  I'm seeing frequent daemon lockups
on Linux with  2.0 and can't put my finger on the cause since there is no
useful information in any of the log files or in debug mode.  I'm using the
FDO MySQL provider extensively as well.
