[mapguide-users] MapGuide Site Administrator user ID and password

It would be nice if there was a tool available to either reset or
decrypt the MapGuide passwords if you have physical access to the
machine.

 

Although the MgSiteResourceContentManager::WriteUserList and
EnumerateAllUsers functions appears to support listing the encrypted
passwords, I can't find anywhere that this parameter is used in any of
the services or APIs (which is a good thing).  However, if this DBXML
code could be combined with the logic for decrypting the password in
MgCryptographyUtil I'm guessing that we'd have a nice little unlocking
utility.

If you are looking for the default login, it is:
Username: Administrator
Password: admin
