Many thanks Frank for your prompt reply,
I am getting an error while running the following command using FWTools
Shell;

gdalwarp -t_srs '+proj=tmerc +lon_0=-115 +k=0.9992 +datum=NAD83' 
raw_spot.tif utm11.tif

(while raw_spot.tif file in my bin folder)

ERROR 1: Translating source or target SRS failed:
'+proj=tmerc
