I hear what you're saying, but I personally doubt that there will ever
be an upgrade option without strong community support.

 

We are relying on Autodesk to package MapGuide Open Source, something
that I want to change as soon as I have some time to put together an
NSIS-based installer script.  

 

This would have many benefits, including allowing us to create installer
packages nightly/weekly, but I personally have no interest in tackling
the complexity that is involved in setting up an upgrade option.
