I'm having a similar problem with displaying custom symbology in Autodesk
MapGuide Studio. I'm trying to display fairly simple point symbology (i.e.
circle with a cross) but when previewed, the point is displaying with a
white, square outline around the point. I'm not looking for any kind of
transparency within my symbol itself (just looking to get rid of the white
square background).

I copied the image from an ArcMap layout into corel draw, then exported it
as a .png
A second idea was to directly import ESRI true type fonts into my symbols
library. I read in the help that Studio should support ttf however my
symbols library doesn't have it listed as a supported format.
Any ideas on how to get rid of the white background, or how to import ttf
directly into studio would be greatly appreciated.
