[mapguide-users] Look for lines

To be clear when you say double lines Google in some cases actually shows 2 separate lines that are parallel in cases where there is a median, is that what you mean because your images don't seem to show that, just really wide streets or do you mean the double lines because of the direction arrows? With standard composite lines you can get the wide lines. Make a wide line on the bottom and an narrower line on top that is just slightly larger to get the thick yellow line with a lighter border or for a median type look possibly add a third line, but it's hard to customize the color of the median or make it transparent if it's supposed to be a median. Ideally the data really needs to contain 2 separate lines if there is an actual median.

As to the direction lines I don't think you can overlay an additional style that matches the data if it contains a direction.

You may be able to do some customization with the advanced symbolization as Kenneth mentioned that will do both the think lines and the direction using a composite symbol and some theming.

You may also want to try out the advanced symbolization capabilities:

You can see an example for lines here:

Is there an option to display double line for a line (as in google maps) using mapguide maestro.
I am attaching a jpg for comparison.

Thanks and Regards.
