1. No, you can use MapGuide Maestro
(http://trac.osgeo.org/mapguide/wiki/maestro) 

2. The default user/pass is : Administrator/admin (not the uppercase A)

3. I don't think much documentation exists for web studio. Not to mention
that web studio hasn't been maintained in ages. You are better of using MG
Studio or Maestro.
