If you set up an index KML file properly with a network link pointing to
your service Google Earth will provide it to you.  Have a look at the
<link> element, especially viewFormat.

Note, that this will only work for network links... not <a> elements in
your description.  So your <a> would have to point to an index KML that
includes a network link, etc...
