[mapguide-users] 2.1 Beta (Fusion) Problems

Thanks - that was a very useful reply, actually! It leaves me wondering
why Fusion is so isolated from Mapguide, though. I mean, shouldn't bugs
like this in Fusion hold back a Mapguide release? To me, it should -
since Fusion comes with Mapguide (and so, if the Mapguide release is
good to go, the user assumes that Fusion is too). If you put out a
broken (or semi-broken) Fusion with Mapguide, it's only going to server
to make people afraid of Fusion (count me in in that group - it's got
great potential, but way too many show stoppers for me to adopt). I
realize that they started off as separate projects, and I realize why
they're still separate (and the benefits to doing that), but to me a
Mapguide relase includes the FDOs, Mapguide and Fusion (and maybe even
Meastro). Any bug in any of those components will leave people with a
bad taste in their mouth.
Just some thoughts to consider...
