[mapguide-users] assigning bmp images programmetically to the layer

Hi, 
iam using mapguide opensource 2.0 (with .net 2.0 +IIS 5.1) 
Now my requirement is that 

 i want to highlight my polygons layer with star images (suppose in png
format) 

suppose i want to display a parcel with number 1 with star image(for
identification) 

How is it possible ? 
can u plz tell me the solution.
