[mapguide-users] Passing parameters to built-in commands

I need to pass a parameter (the user id of the person logged into the system)
to the Measure built-in control.

The ID get passed through to the toolbar.aspx page from the mainframe.aspx
page, but when the Measure button is clicked,
the ID gets lost when the measureui.aspx page is opened.

The feeling I get is that the parameter needs to be included in the
toolbar.templ file, but how and where do I do that.

I am cautious of using session variables, but if there is no other option, I
will have to use it.

I also tried including a class with a procedure that set and get the ID, but
that does not work.


Any help will be appreciated.
