[mapguide-users] Regarding -- Shape File Editor

Schema editing for shape files is extremely restrictive. You cannot edit the
structure of an existing shape file. You can only create shape files by
applying a schema (which you can add, modify and delete to your heart's
content) but once that schema is applied, it is locked in and no more
modifications can be made.

These are not restrictions imposed by FDO Toolbox, they are imposed by the
FDO SHP provider.
