[mapguide-users] Failed to read schema from data source: MySQL

I downloaded and installed MySQL version 5.0.80. still i am getting the same
error. I am using FDO Tools for creating spatial table from shapefiles using
ogr2ogr  tool , is there any issues creating spatial table in MySQL
