i am able to make the calls for the interface like that

window.frames.mapframe.showLegend();

thank you everyone, 

but now i should ask if anybody knows how can i use normal actions ( like
select, marquee zoom) from the outer window.

i remember a while ago,  you could launch a set of actions , and they were
numerated (this was in the old mapviewer) something like
executemapaction(19).

is there something like that to be used in fusion?
