I have tried a view however It was not possible...
I think the reason behind it was that the table had no unique or primary
key.

I'm using SQL Sptial 2008 linking tables from Oracle and other SQL DBs .....

Current work around drops the view to another table on user request ...
using the view would be great if it is possible :)
