I found out, that I can´t make a join over a native client connection like
that:
Driver={SQL Server Native Client
10.0};Server=sxxxxxxxx;Instance=MSSQLSERVER;Database=MyDB;Uid=mapguide;Pwd=HelloWorld;

When I use the following connection string
Driver={SQL
Server};Server=sxxxxxxxx;Database=MyDB;Uid=mapguide;Pwd=HelloWorld; 
MapGuide returns error 559.

After replacing the Servername sxxxxxxxx by localhost everything works fine
- the connection - the join.

This little word cost me 2 days....
