[mapguide-users] Cannot get any DSN for ODBC Provider

Hi,

I'm trying to connect to an Oracle-Database (10g R2) via DSN (FDO Provider
for ODBC). The System DSN works fine. My problem is that it doesn't show up
in the DSN-Listbox in MapGuide Studio or in MapGuide Maestro when trying to
create a feature source. The Listbox stays empty, even if there are several
other DSN entries to other databases. By the way, I restarted the mapguide
server service and also the whole server several times.

This happens on my develop machine and also on our customers production
server. Could it be that the "FDO Provider for ODBC" doesn't work on Windows
Server 2008 (production) or Windows 7 (development)?

Next thing I've tested was if it works on a virtual machine with Windows XP
installed and after restarting the mapguide server service the dsn entry
shows up fine.

So, does anyone have the same problem in connecting a database via DSN and
the "FDO Provider for ODBC" on Windows Server 2008 or Windows 7? 
Maybe someone has a solution for this or an idea what goes wrong!

My MapGuide version is 2.1.
