Perhaps the only issue is that you are not setting the coordinate system of
the oracle datasource with the correct one?  MapGuide will reproject your
vectors to the map's coordinate system.  

For example, if you set the map to the spherical mercator and your oracle
data is in EPSG: 3007  you should be fine - mapguide will re-project your
oracle data into the google coordinate system.
