[mapguide-users] Showing running numbers of selected items

Hello,

I have a question and need some help.

I have selected some features in a layer programmatically. This works very fine and the zooming is also working.
Now I need to show the running numbers in the map for this selected items.
Example:
3 features are selected programmatically
They are shown with numbers 1 to 3 in the map

May be you can give me some hints how this can be done. The documentation did not give me any usable information.
